Dyslexia a difference that reflects diversity and what a fab difference it is.

Hi blog readers

Just read a post on Facebook that said dyslexia was defined as a mental disorder. Gawd well the post certainly made me go mental.

Dyslexia is a difference that reflects diversity. Society disables and marginalises us and this begins at school which for many reasons fails us.

We have to change the narrative surrounding dyslexia away from a negative medical model of    dyslexia which has been imposed upon is.

Myself and my organisation Dyslexia Pathways CIC the world's first dyslexia focussed social enterprise support and promote the social model of dyslexia.

We see dyslexia as a difference that reflects diversity and what a fab difference it is. Support our work and share our dyslexia positive vision.

Peace love and groovyness to all in the dyslexic community  and ta for reading
