Unique Dyslexic Celebration of Creativity: See what we can achieve

Hi blog readers hope you are all well.

Just thought I would post some images from out Unique Dyslexic Celebration of Creativity from Oct 2014. Last you was a great year for Dyslexia Pathways CIC especially our Unique Dyslexic Get Creative campaign.

None of which may have happened have happened had I not survived my heart attack almost a year to go. Strange to think I was only 1% away from dying from the heart attack only a year ago. I have to give a big thank you to all the nurses and doctors and our NHS for saving my life.

Over 60 people came along to our event over the course of the day and thanks to the 15 volunteers who supported our Unique Dyslexic Get Creative Campaign over the course of the year and to the 50 participants who came along to the workshops.

Here are just a few pictures from the exhibition lots of dyslexic talent on show

Many thanks to the Lord Provost of Fife for opening our event.

Many thanks to Ross Cooper for coming up to Glenrothes and giving us a great keynote speech. Especially considering he was busy with is Dyslexic Festival in London at the time.

Thanks to all the performers......here is Lizzie who told aural stories passed down through the centuries. Just showing that you don't need books to tell stories. I had run out of film so could not film her performance

The brilliant Anita Govan dyslexic poet a short film of her performance at the event. If you ever get the opportunity go see her perform.

Siannie Moodie a short extract from her performance on her Scottish harp. She was fab very talented harpist.

Ta for taking the time to read my blog. Hope you enjoyed all the images half as much as I enjoyed taking them..
