Funny how when we are younger we all wanna be older and when we are older we all wanna be younger? One of life's ironies that one. I know I could certainly do with the energy I had as a younger person.
And the conversations are different as well. When I was younger the chat was all about girls, pubs and football. Now its all about the tablets I take, going to the supermarket and how knackered I am lol.
The new Unique Dyslexic web site is bubbling along quite nicely. As is the new logo. Here is the next iteration its still not completed by any means. I much prefer version one. the other two are both no no's. The letters need to look more solid in version one and I am thinking purple and gold rather than purple and orange:
I have a full on dyslexia support day today with 5 students to see.....so can't do any more with the unique project. I wrote a little actions list yesterday.......scared myself to death it was so long........not enough hours in the day.
I am struggling quite a lot financially though because of the time I have to put in moving the Unique project forward. I cannot see as many students and I don't want to even work out how much that is costing me lol.
Still when I was working as a dyslexia and inclusion specialist in colleges so much paper work, so much politics and so many tedious meetings to attend sigh. I miss the teaching bit al lot but none of the other stuff. On the upside the pay was pretty good and regular as well.
No I don't know how much money will be in the bank at the end of the month, I don't have any of the politics and meetings to cope with but I am a lot happier.
